Asking Questions
A strong technical question makes the problem reproducible.
Include
Section titled “Include”- DigiEmu technology or product
- version when relevant
- operating environment
- expected behavior
- observed behavior
- minimal reproduction steps
- relevant non-sensitive output
Good scope
Section titled “Good scope”Prefer one concrete technical problem per question.
Instead of:
Verification does not work.
Prefer:
Verification reports an integrity mismatch after regenerating a publication from the same source set.
The second question gives other developers something they can investigate.
Sensitive information
Section titled “Sensitive information”Never include:
- credentials
- API keys
- private keys
- confidential evidence
- private customer data
- sensitive source material
