Artifact Types
Artifacts are explicit outputs or preserved states that participate in a verification workflow.
Common categories

Section titled “Source artifact”Material used as an input to a process.
Examples include source files, repository state, configuration or structured input.
Derived artifact
Section titled “Derived artifact”An output produced from one or more source artifacts.
Examples include publications, reports or reconstructed state.
Evidence artifact
Section titled “Evidence artifact”Material used to support inspection or verification.
Examples include manifests, hashes, signatures and verification records.
Verification result
Section titled “Verification result”An explicit result produced by evaluating an artifact against a defined verification contract.
