Integrity Concepts
A deterministic digest of content used to detect changes.
Signature
Section titled “Signature”Cryptographic evidence that can bind data to a signing key.
Manifest
Section titled “Manifest”A structured description of artifacts, identifiers and integrity information.
A sequence in which records are cryptographically or logically linked.
Trust boundary
Section titled “Trust boundary”The set of components or assumptions that must be trusted for a particular claim.
Integrity does not by itself establish provenance, authorship or semantic correctness.
