Verification Adapter Pattern
Verification Adapter Pattern
Section titled “Verification Adapter Pattern”A small adapter keeps application code from depending directly on internal implementation details.
Boundary
Section titled “Boundary”Model the integration as:
application input → adapter → DigiEmu technology → structured result → application decision
The adapter should make these elements explicit:
- artifact or state identity;
- contract or schema version;
- verification policy;
- evidence references;
- structured verification result;
- process-level error information where applicable.
Consumer rule
Section titled “Consumer rule”The application should make decisions from the structured verification result, not from free-form logs.
Unknown, incomplete, or unsupported states must remain unresolved rather than silently becoming success.
Example shape
Section titled “Example shape”{ "contract_version": "example-only", "artifact_id": "artifact-reference", "status": "PASS | FAIL | INCOMPLETE | UNKNOWN", "evidence": [ "evidence-reference" ]}This JSON is illustrative. Use the authoritative contract of the integrated DigiEmu technology in production.
Why an adapter helps
Section titled “Why an adapter helps”An adapter gives you one place to:
- pin contract versions;
- normalize transport errors;
- preserve unknown fields;
- reject unsupported states;
- record verification receipts;
- migrate consumers when an interface changes.
